1、 Structure introduction
API standard butterfly valve adopts three eccentric structure, and the valve seat seal is metal multi-layer hard seal structure, which is usually the interlayer between metal and graphite, such as 304+ graphite and 316+ graphite. Such hard seal can also be made into single layer soft seal PTFE, rptfe, ppl, EPDM, NBR, etc
Three eccentric butterfly valve features:
1. Short structure size, small volume, light weight, easy to operate
2. Using the whole shaft mechanism, the butterfly plate has high strength and large flow area
3. The unique three eccentric design reduces the friction loss of the seal and greatly prolongs the service life
