Lug Type triple offset butterfly valve is a kind of valve with lug connection, which has the advantage of short distance between two ends of the pipeline. It connects the flange of both ends of the pipeline with gold hoop bolts. For the convenience of installation and auxiliary fixation, it is generally used in the occasions with high strength of pipeline terminal and pipe network.
1、 Structure introduction
Convex butterfly valve, also known as branch butterfly valve, American standard convex butterfly valve adopts three eccentric structure. The seat seal is metal multi-layer hard seal structure, which is usually the interlayer of metal and graphite, such as 304 + graphite, 316 + graphite. Such hard seal can also be made into single-layer soft seal PTFE, rptfe, ppl, EPDM, NBR, etc
Three eccentric butterfly valve features:
1. Short structure size, small volume, light weight, easy to operate
2. Using the whole shaft mechanism, the butterfly plate has high strength and large flow area
3. The unique three eccentric design reduces the friction loss of the seal and greatly prolongs the service life
