8-Inch API Standard Stainless Steel Butterfly Valve Flange Type butterfly valve has the advantages of convenient and rapid opening and closing, labor saving, small fluid resistance, regular operation, simple structure, small volume and light weight. It can transport mud. The liquid accumulated at the pipe mouth is the least, and good sealing can be achieved under low pressure.
1、 Structure introduction
API standard butterfly valve adopts three eccentric structure. The valve seat seal is metal multi-layer hard seal structure, which is usually the interlayer of metal and graphite, such as 304 + graphite, 316 + graphite. Such hard seal can also be made into single-layer soft seal PTFE, rptfe, ppl, EPDM, NBR, etc.
Three eccentric butterfly valve features:
1. Short structure size, small volume, light weight, easy to operate
2. Using the whole shaft mechanism, the butterfly plate has high strength and large flow area
3. The unique three eccentric design reduces the friction loss of the seal and greatly prolongs the service life
